In the meantime, clinicians primarily diagnose adults. Today, DDI is a dynamic, non-profit, multi-site agency, each day serving hundreds of children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, providing educational, residential, habilitative, vocational, transportation, and service coordination support to the Long Island community.

Our Adult Residential Services provide community-living opportunities for people with autism and other developmental disabilities over the age of 21 throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties on Long Island.
DDI’s Day Habilitation programs serve adults with autism and other developmental disabilities in multiple locations throughout Long Island. Services are provided in a variety of settings, each of which provides slightly different supports and services based on the physical environment and clinical supports.
